We all deserve a well-designed life and it starts with a beautiful space that feels like home, that comforts, nurtures and inspires us to our best, most authentic life. Home can be an expression of where we are now and a catalyst that expands us into our next level and next version of self.

Kate’s intention with her service and the reason behind the Harper Road store is to make great design accessible and affordable, to help you create a beautiful space for your next, most authentic chapter.

APPROACH

Working closely with clients to realize their vision and objectives, Kate collaborates with teams and contractors to deliver beautiful, distinctive spaces and finished products on time and within budget.

Kate welcomes local and long-distance project inquiries. While based in Boulder now, Kate has served projects from California to Texas to Colorado and is open to anywhere in between…and beyond.

ABOUT

A multi-disciplinary, creative consultant and designer for 25 years, Kate has designed across a wide variety of media, industries, projects, niches and clientele.

On a creative path since graduating from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, Studio Arts Centers International (SACI) in Florence, Italy and the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Kate got her start professionally designing floral arrangements in a busy shop while creating rock show posters in San Francisco in her 20’s. From there, she and a friend started their own prolific graphic design company (Mermedia), which they ran successfully as partners for 15 years. After styling her own wedding in 2013, Kate enjoyed it so much and received so much positive feedback (including the venue planner’s proclamation to steal her ideas - a compliment;), Kate was bitten by the interior and event design bug.

Since then Kate has designed, decorated and styled recording studios, residences, events and even a few film sets - while also appearing as an actor in a few commercial and television productions.

When not doing that she’s hiking, snowboarding, writing or working on her own art.
